Joseph Allen Lame. Jr.

Joseph Allen Lame, Jr., known to his family as “J.J.”, was born October 26, 2007 in Des Moines, Iowa to Joseph Allen Lame, Sr. and Kelly Byers Rosenbalm. He passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at his home in Des Moines at age 11.

J.J. was a happy boy who loved to laugh. He liked to go to school at George Washington Carver Elementary School and was in the 5th grade. He enjoyed listening to music. J.J. loved to be held and read to and he always lit up whenever his mom or his grandma were near.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his mom Kelly Rosenbalm, step-dad Shawn Rosenbalm, dad Joseph Lame Sr., siblings Justin, Andrew and Autumn, grandma and grandpa Kathy and Scott Byers, and many other family and friends.

There will be a visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Cremation will take place after the visitation.
