Arlo Hall

Arlo Max Hall, 82, passed away February 26, 2019. Arlo was born July 8, 1936 in Malcom, Iowa to Lester R. and Hazel (Englebart) Hall. He graduated from Montezuma High School in 1954 and served in the U.S. Army in Germany for 2 years. Arlo graduated from Drake University in 1962. He resided in several locations with his career as a CPA including Denver, Colorado and Des Moines. Arlo was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the AICPA.
He is survived by his wife, Sandi; daughter, Kelli Lynn Hall of Adel, IA; son, Dr. Todd Michael Hall of Lakeland, FL; and brother, Jack (Linda) Hall of Brooklyn, IA. Arlo was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marlyn, Dean and Larry; and sisters, Nellie, LaVon and Donna.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10:00 am at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, IA., with visitation following.

My heart and soul are with you, Sandi, Kelly, and Todd. Arlo was a great guy. He was a quiet man, but you could always see the sparkle in his eyes. He adored his wife and children and will always be remembered for his kindness and sweet self. God bless all of you.

Arlo was a great guy and a reputable CPA. When he moved to Des Moines from Omaha with Haskins and Sells it added a new big 8 firm to the city. Always a pleasure to be around.
