Daniel Wayne Allsup, 54, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Danny was born October 31, 1964 in Torrance, California to Kenneth Wayne and Rita Allsup.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and in many states including Texas, California, Florida, and Missouri before settling in Iowa. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed spending most spring days in the woods looking for morel mushrooms.

Danny is survived by his children: Michael Allsup (Jessica), Josh Allsup (Danielle), Nicole Allsup, and Carrie Gomez; grandchildren: Brookelyn, Payton, Cecilia, Evelyn, and Eli; his significant other, Aviva Clark; mother, Rita Allsup; siblings: Kevin Allsup (Tammy), Randy Allsup (Tammy) Scott Allsup (Jane), Penny Allsup (Lloyd); step-siblings: Steve Eittreim (Debbie), Greg Eittreim (Lisa) and Cathy Fosselman; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends all of whom will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wayne Allsup; brother, Brian Allsup; nephews, Christopher Allsup and Dylan Watson; niece, Megan Allsup; grandparents, Earnest and Susie Allsup, Bernard and Edythe Woodson; among several other family members.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at the First Congregational Church, 224 N. Division St. Stuart, Iowa on March 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM.

In remembrance of Danny, memorials may be made directly to the family.
