Willie Pollard

Willie Don Pollard, born June 11, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa was the second of seven children born to Clyde and Willa Jo Pollard.
The Pollard Family moved from Des Moines to Promise City, Iowa in 1968. As an adult, Willie lived in Des Moines and several other places. Traveling often for a variety of careers from driving a semi to installing windows and siding.
Willie is survived by his daughters, Lois (Brian) Charron, her children Austin and Alex; Christy Lynn (James) Armstrong, her children Monty, Brittney and Dalton. Their mother, Darlene Morris (Fred) and the sister of his daughters, Alexis Nish (Derek) and children Cameron, Lauren and Jackson along with his son in law Matt Miller, all of whom will always be a part of the Pollard Family.
Willie is also survived by his sibling extended family and a host of friend who were very important to him.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents and brother Glen Pollard.

Sorry for you lost.Our deepest thoughts, prayers are with you and your family. We knew Willie, and his family when they lived in Desmoines growing up. Our neighborhood was known as dog patch..

Lois and Christy and families: Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your father. He was one of my first cousins. I especially remember when he and his five siblings and parents visited us in Evansdale, Iowa, in 1967 and how much he and Rick enjoyed wrestling each other. Take care.
