Barbara Keeling

Barbara L. Keeling, 69, passed away Saturday January 6, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday at the Altoona Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Barbara was born April 18, 1937 in Des Moines to Mabel and Arthur Denny. At the time of her death she was a school bus driver for the SE Polk Schools. A job she had done for 30 years. Barbara was a member of the Woodland Hills Community Church as well as the Pony Express Riders of Iowa. She enjoyed baking and crafts. Her greatest joy was being with her family and friends. She loved to help folks and so was very active in the Pony Express Riders of Iowa.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Mike of Pleasant Hill, Jeff (Judy) of Mitchellvilleand Bryan (Cheryl ) of Colfax; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; her sister Linda Hess (Virgil) of Urbandale
Memorials are suggested to the Easter Seal Society of Iowa.
