Henry Brown

Henry Brown, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, December 13, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Burial will follow at the Iowa Veteran’s Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Henry proudly served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force for a total of 12 years. He worked as a welder at Massey Ferguson for many years before going to work at Katecho where he was a receiving inspector. Henry enjoyed his computer, bowling, watching football, reading and spending time with his family.
Henry is survived by his children, Gilbert, Carnell, Robert and Marie Brown; step-children, Anthony Sutton, Sr., Rodney (Janet) Sutton, Sr., Yvette Sutton, William (Shelly) Sutton, Sr. and Herb (Jennifer) Sutton, Jr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and dear and lifelong friend, Patricia Brown-Kahler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
