Bradley Ashley, 37, of Des Moines passed away at home on December 10, 2008 of complications of diabetes.
Brad was self employed as a certified mechanic. He loved working on cars, fishing, car races, golf and barbequing.
He is survived by his daughter, Allison Ashley; sons Andrew Kasper and Chris Staley; a grandson Damian; his mother, Florence Ashley; his father, Ted (Jackie) Ashley; his sisters, Mellissa and LaVerta Ashley, step-siblings, Tina, Tammy, Angie, Fred and Don and other loving family.
A visitation with family present will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of Brad.

i miss you so much. what do i have to live for. why did you have to go and leave us.i love you and miss you so much. i cant wait till we are reunited up in heaven. i was at your viwing and when my sister huged me thats when i was the most up set and i could see in her eyes she new you were gone to i love you so much and i really miss you.

I come to know Brad at Broadlawns. He was proud of his family and talked about his daughter Ashley coming to live with him and he was so excited. I got his number in case I needed my car worked on. I too have diabetes and it is scary. Brad will be missed by all. He was a FUNNY guy.
