Judith A. Bartz

Judith A. Bartz, 66, died unexpectedly Sunday December 7, 2008 at her home. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday December 12, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Judy was born September 24, 1942 to J. Milton and LaVerne Garrett in Des Moines. She worked as a medical secretary at Broadlawns General Hospital and Mercy Medical Center for many years. Judy was a member of Grace Community Church.
Judy is survived by her children, James (Gwen) Murillo, Nick (Debra) Murillo, and Shannon (Joel) Behrendsen; ten grandchildren; and a host of other family and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard O. Bartz; parents; and brothers, Richard B. Garrett and Gerald M. Garrett.
Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Community Church.
