Ruby A. Ford, 86, of Des Moines passed away on December 3, 2008 at the Norwalk Nursing and Rehab Center. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 P.M. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home on Sunday, December 7th. Ruby was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 19, 1922 and was the daughter of Ruth and Charles Bennum. She is survived by her sons Pat (Brenda) and Rolly (Chris) Ford of Des Moines and Rod (Patty) Ford of Hague, Virginia; her sisters Mary Hayes of Des Moines and Regina Sneed of St. Paul, Nebraska as well as ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Rolland “Doc” Ford; her parents; brother William Bennum and sister Gladys Knight. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.

last visited with her about 3 months ago. We had a very nice visit.
We go back so many years with your father and mother. The
great times will always be cherished with the entire Ford family.
