Makayla Claire Shickell

Makayla Claire Shickell, daughter of Gwendolen and Derek Shickell, went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2008 at Mercy Hospital. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Jordan Creek United Methodist Church in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Makayla is survived by her parents, Gwendolen and Derek; her brother John Ryan; her sisters, Abigail Ryan and Hanna Shickell; her grandparents, Roger and Linda Tjarks of Titonka, Iowa, and Fred and Charlyn Shickell of Lincoln, Nebraska; her great grandparents, Rose Frahm of Ceresco, Nebraska, and Marion Knoll of Burt, Iowa; her uncle, Travis Tjarks and his children Jared and Jacob of Buffalo Center, Iowa; her uncle Criss and Aunt Dana Butler and their children Seth, Caleb and Ethan of Omaha, Nebraska.
Makayla was preceded in death by her great grandparents; Herman and Berniece Tjarks, William and Ethel Shickell, William Knoll and Leroy Frahm.
