Patricia Ruth Christy, 88, passed away February 12, 2019 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. No services are planned.
Patricia was born September 30, 1930 in Eddyville, Iowa to Alice and Elmer Eagan. She worked for Greenberg’s for many years.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Dee Hopkins; sons, Jeff Christy and Mike (Chyrel) Christy; grandchildren, John, Sara, Danny, Michele, Doug and Chris; great-grandchildren, Abbie, Tony, Josie, Eli, Jenna, Logan, Mia and Lucas; and a host of dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marley; son, Tony; and her grandson, Brian.

Pat was a special lady to Tim and I. She was the first person we knew when we moved to Des Moines over 30 yrs ago. She will always remain in our hearts. Thinking of you all at this time.

Pat was very special to me. She was so energetic. She helped me succeed in my career. She was at the right place at the right time. She helped me when I opened my salon. It was my honor to know her. God Bless her children, Love You
