B. Harriett Campbell

Harriett Campbell, 97, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Ramsey Village in Des Moines.

Harriett was born July 3, 1921 in Lucas, Iowa to Thomas and Blanche (Boyd) Griffiths. Her family was the most important thing to her and she treasured them beyond measure. She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Rodney) Knox; her grandchildren: Ty (Maggie) Knox and their children Charlie and Chloe, Clint (Fran) Knox, and Blake (Aubrey) Roth and their children Ellis and Rosilan Roth; and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernie Sevier; second husband, James Campbell; parents, Thomas and Blanche Griffiths; step-daughters, Rosilan (Rusti) Roth and Tina Menges; sister, Marguerite Trusty; and brothers, Wendell Griffiths and Herman Griffiths.

There will be a celebration of Harriett’s life on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines followed by burial at Graceland Cemetery in Creston, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
