Rebecca Faye Conners-McPherson, 57, of Des Moines peacefully passed away on November 27, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1-4 PM Tuesday prior to the service. Rebecca was born and raised in Trenton, Missouri and spent all of her adult life in Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents and survived by her sisters Kay Reid, Opal Swope and Lola Jo Wise, her brother Jerry D. Conners, her daughters Sheryl Sparks of Missouri and Sheila (Curt) Carty of Earlham as well as her 8 grandchildren Duane L. Shiner, Jessica Lynn Carty, Dawn L. Shiner, Jennifer Kay Carty, DavidLee Shiner, Sara K. Sparks, Stacey M. Sparks and Lindsey Lynae Carty.
