Debra Kissell

Debra Jean Kissell, 55, went to a better life Friday, November 28, 2008. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. The family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Debra was born June 29, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa and moved to Des Moines’ south side as a young girl. She was a roller skating waitress at Millie’s Drive In and managed convenience stores on the south side of Des Moines and in Indianola. Debra loved meeting new people, spending time with her family and gambling.
Debra is survived by her daughters, Wendy Mosquera (Adan Espino) and Tina (Chad) Erickson; two sisters, Donna and Rhonda; six grandchildren, Rikki, Rico, Lindsey, Nicholas, Diego and MacKenzie; and one great-granddaughter, Alexis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Lee Kissell.
