Doris M. Stuart

Doris Stuart, 78, died peacefully, Thursday, November 27, 2008, at her home. Doris was born on April 15, 1930 to Gladys and Dillard Goodpasture in Des Moines Iowa.
Doris enjoyed being a member of the Altoona Kitchen Band, being a Wal-Mart greeter, but above all else being a mother and a grandmother to all who knew her.
Doris is survived by; her granddaughter, Renee; great granddaughters, Sydney and Kinzie; and her great great grandson, Aiden; her brother, Robert; her sister, Shirley; and her daughter-in-law, Linda.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Michael Stuart and Sherry McIntosh; and the father of her children, Dick Stuart.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2008 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW in Altoona IA, burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 6PM to 8PM on Sunday evening at the funeral home.
