Mary Meier

Mary Angela Meier, 87, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Taylor House Hospice. She was born October 24, 1921 in Des Moines to Antonio and Angela Marie Chiodo. Private family services were held and burial took place at Greenwood Friends Cemetery.
Mary is survived by her husband, Manford; children, Charles (Marcia) Meier and Mary (Hogan) Liechty; grandchildren, Allison Meier, Erica Meier, Jennifer Boyers-Liechty, Megan St. Romain and Jason Boyers-Liechty; great-grandchildren, Anysa Meier, Alliyah St. Romain and R.J. St. Romain; brother, Tony N. Chiodo; sisters-in-law, Patricia Francisco and Barbara (Don) Pryor; her faithful Dachshund companion, Sam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was a member of the Society of Italian Americans Auxiliary and Lutheran Church Women (LCW).
