Lena Summy

Lena Margaret Summy, 91, died Friday, November 21, 2008 at Kavanagh on 56th. A private ceremony will be held with her family in the spring. Burial will occur at Glendale Cemetery.
Lena was born March 19, 1917 in Des Moines to Fred and Antonina Izzolena. She graduated from Lincoln High School and worked 35 years as a retail manager for Montgomery Wards.
Lena is survived by her family, Vicky, Marge, Sammy, Helen, Stella, John, LuLu, Patty, and Judy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Antonina Izzolena; son, Robert Edwards; and siblings, Mary, Rosie, Josephine, Carmine, Jimmy, Alfred, and Anthony.
