Dennis Cooney

Denny Cooney, 51, died Thursday, November 20, 2008. He was born May 25, 1957 to Leonard and Paulene Cooney in Keosauqua, Iowa
Denny enjoyed many things in his life including; classic Chevy trucks, Harley Davidson motorcycles, cooking (and eating), sports “especially the Cyclones”, but above all else, he loved spending time with his family.
Denny is survived by his son, Charles (Laina) Cooney; his daughters, Audrey and Abbey Cooney; his brother, Russell Cooney; his sisters, Karen Emken and Pat Johnson; and his granddaughter, Olivia Cooney.
Funeral Services will be 10AM, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Altoona IA. Friends may visit with family from 6PM to 8 PM Tuesday, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 5400 4th St SW, Altoona IA.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in loving memory of Denny.
