Beulah Rafdal

Beulah Rafdal, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Kavanagh on 56th. Beulah was born August 5, 1923 in Adair County, Iowa to Frederic and LuLu Davis. She was a devoted member of Fountain of Life Cathedral. Beulah was a devout Christian and a proud American. Her family was her life.
Beulah is survived by her husband of 63 years, Elwood; children, Doug (Jeanne) Rafdal, Dave (Marcia) Rafdal, Debbie (Darrell) Sanford and Pam (Jack) Wharton; grandchildren, Eric, Nicole, Sara, Karen, Anna, Maria, David II, Jennifer and Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Breanna and Brett; sisters, Lucille and Helen; and her brother, Bernard. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Marla Glanz; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard, 3820 SW 9th St. with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
