Jay Fullbright

J. William Fullbright, 40, passed away November 17, 2008. He was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Evelyn and Russell Fullbright. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School and received his BS degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He was a Letter Carrier for 10 years with the U.S. Postal Service; based at the University Station.
J. William enjoyed weight-lifting, Harley Davidson motorcycles, reading, home improvement projects and playing with his dogs Luc and Beaux. Best of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife Polly; rollerblading, competing in triathlons and attending movies.
He is survived by wife, Polly; mother, Evelyn Fullbright of Cedar Falls, IA; brother, Mark (Monica) Fullbright and niece Madeleine of Edina, MN; sister, Carmen Fullbright of West Des Moines; father and mother in-law, Ronald and Kay Adam of Fairfield, Iowa; brother in-law, Peter (Lisa) Adam and niece Madison. J. William was preceded in death by his father, Russell and his brother Scott.
Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa. The visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20 from 5 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
