Marjorie Leverich

Marjorie L. Leverich, 79, died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at her home under Hospice care. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St, with burial at Rising Sun Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Marjorie was born May 16, 1929 to Floyd and Elsie Garrett in Des Moines. She was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Auburn Lodge #592. Marjorie retired from CDS in 1991 and enjoyed playing Bingo, embroidering, and fishing.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Denise (Robert) Atwood and Karen (Dan) Mason; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy (Millie) Garrett and Larry (Gloria) Garrett; ex-husband, Melvin Leverich; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gerald Leverich; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
