Craig A. Riche

Craig Riche, 46, of Newton, passed away peacefully with family by his side at Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

Craig was born in Des Moines on February 1, 1972 to Kenneth Riche and Vickie Stout. He graduated from Van Meter high school in 1991.

Craig was a passionate man who loved his wife, Becky, dearly. He found great happiness and joy spending time with family, fishing, working on small engines and playing with his dogs, Puggy Bear and Brutus Almighty. He was also an avid Chicago Bears fan. Craig was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. He was a loving person who was selfless and admired for his big heart.

Craig is survived by his wife Becky and her children, Jonathan (Rebekkah) Ault, Jessica Ault and Michael Ault, his sisters Angie Riche and Bobbie (Dan) Stout, his brother Eric (Chelsey) Riche, his parents, Kenneth (Becky) Riche and Vickie (Carl) Stout, his grandmother Shirley Riche, his grandchildren, Cole, Carter, Sierra, Morgan, Rustin and Payton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Craig will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 4 - 6:30 p.m. at the West Des Moines Methodist Church, 720 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines. Should friends and family desire, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
