Vinton Zuck

Vinton Zuck, 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House in Des Moines. Vinton was born January 30, 1935 to Audrey and Orville Zuck. Vinton has lived in the Des Moines area since 1946. He worked as a plumber for 40 years and retired from Wolin Associates.
Vinton enjoyed woodworking, fishing, traveling and camping. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge in Pleasant Hill, and Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 33.
Vinton is survived by daughters, Kathie Yancy from Des Moines and Cindi (Bill) Hildebrandt from Hancock; son, Don Zuck from Des Moines; companion, Betty Davis from Berwick; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and brother, Howard (Pat) Zuck. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores in 1997; parents, his sister, Norma Jean Nichols; and brother, James Zuck.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 N.W. 60th Ave., Des Moines; burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date. Friends may visit with family 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2008 at the funeral home.
