Delores Thompson

Delores Thompson, 85, passed away January 30, 2019 at the Carlisle Care Center, with loving family at her side

Delores was born August 5, 1933 in Grand Junction, Iowa to Howard and Mable Flook. She worked at National Travelers Life until her retirement in 1982.

In her younger days Delores and Leroy enjoyed their date nights and loved going driving out on the country roads.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Thompson, Roger (Lou) Thompson, Tim (Marcy) Thompson, and Mark (Julie) Thompson; brother, Robert Flook; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; along with many extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Leroy; her parents; daughter, Louise Thompson; and daughter-in-law, Sue Thompson.

A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at
Bass Point Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.
