Clarence Babb

Clarence Babb, 97, of Pleasant Hill died Thursday, November 13, 2008. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2008 at Glendale Cemetery.
Clarence was born February 3, 1911 in Des Moines. He retired from Commercial Printing where he worked as a pressman. Clarence was a lifetime member of the Graphic Communication International Union Local 86. He loved all his animals he named “Baby”. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a lifelong Democrat.
Clarence is survived by his daughter-in-law, Deborah Babb; grandchildren, Rhonda Petersen, Mark (Judee) Babb, Suzanne Leonard, Randy Manning, Deborah Lynn (Elijah) Wagner, Tien (Callie) Bui and Thai Bui; brother, William Babb; 22 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and a host of other extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve; daughter, Augusta Ann Manning; son, Ronald Babb; parents, Anna and William; brother, Ray Babb; grandchildren, Ronald Babb, Jr., Diane Manning, Christine Manning and Debra Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
