Annie was a childhood friend of mine. We went to the same schools from Elementary up to Iowa State University. The news of her passing saddens me a great deal. Thinking of the family in this hard time. Annie made everyone smile with her contagious smile. Looking at pictures of her makes everyone smile. I will miss her and cherish every memory I have of her. Especially when she visited me in the hospital. She was there receiving treatment, and that really meant a lot to me her being there. Much love and respect.
