Tony Richter

Antonio “Tony” Richter was born March 23, 1949 in Peru. He passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 69 years of age. Tony’s family sent him to live in the United States at an early age feeling he would be safer. He lived in California and Iowa with extended family. Being from Peru, soccer was his first choice of sports. He served as a coach and referee for Des Moines Public Schools until his death. He worked as an interpreter for courts and schools. All the while, he kept his hand in car sales. He is preceded in death by his son Brandon. Tony is survived by three grandchildren – Allison, Danny, and Oriah.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Going to miss him. I knew him for nine years. He was a sweet carrying man He will always be a special person to me.I will remember him always. My prays are with the family.
