Toni J. Conner

Toni Jo Conner, 45, journeyed to heaven January 12, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.

Toni was born April 16, 1973 in Des Moines, Iowa. Toni worked for CDS Global for 31 years. She graduated from East High School in 1992. Toni’s family was her pride and joy, she loved cooking Sunday suppers with her kids. Toni’s greatest joy was being a Nana to Bella Lynne. Toni loved the great outdoors, camping, and living life to the fullest. She loved taking her kids to the Iowa State Fair and would never miss Eastside Night. She was always the life of the party, and the sunshine of our lives! In her free time, she’d complete crossword puzzles and loved watching Netflix with her kids.

Toni is survived by her daughter Nicole “Nicknack”, son Austin “Bubby”, husband Michael, granddaughter Bella Lynne, siblings Chrissy (Brent) Garrett and Tim (Bailey) Lamberti, nephews Noah and Ian, best friend Lori Middleton, her “adopted” children Madeline Eastridge, Devin Kahler, Alex Deboef, Rachael King, and a plethora of extended family.

Toni was preceded in death by her grandparents Dora and Lawrence Hummel, aunt Marie Cleveland, nephew Solomon Kunert, and great-niece Evie Mae.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, also at Hamilton’s. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery after services. Luncheon will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Baldwin-Patterson Post 274 American Legion, 2211 E 42nd Street, Des Moines.
