John Schrodt

John R. Schrodt, 72, of Des Moines, died Monday, January 1, 2007, he was born February 1, 1934 in Creston, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, January 5, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 3 to 6 PM at the funeral home.
John was enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and served his country until his honorable discharge in July of 1959. He retired after 34 years with U.S. West Telephone Company.
John is survived by sons, Lance and Michael Schrodt; his sister, Evelyn; and his Grandson, Jonathan.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Karen.
