Myron Harris

Myron “Moley” Harris, 82, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Bright Kavanagh House. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at Berwick Cemetery
Moley was born November 20, 1925 in Seymour, Iowa to Wayne and Abbie (Brown) Harris. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Moley worked as a Mold Operator for Firestone Retread until his retirement in 1957.
Moley is survived by his son, David (Jeri) Hodson of Ankeny; grandson, David (Emily) Hodson of Berwick; granddaughter, Krista (Don) Reha of Des Moines; six great-grandchildren, Mathew, Ashley, Madison, Jared, Bailey and Adam; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty J. Harris; and grandson, Jimmy Hodson.
