Service Details
Dale Ruckman, 48, died at his home Monday, November 10, 2008. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. A private family burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery.
Dale was born July 13, 1960. He worked as a truck driver.
Dale is survived by his wife, Gloria Ruckman of Des Moines; mother, Bonnie; sons, Michael and Thomas Ruckman of Centerville, Russell, Richard, and Clifford Ruckman, all of Mystic; daughter, Jamie Ruckman of Mystic; adopted sons, Joseph and Joshua Dunn of Des Moines; step-children, Kimberly Dunn, Angelea (Roy) Huse, and Robert Dunn all of Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale and infant daughter, Misty.

It is to bad that the good ones go so young. God bless and keep all of you. We have the memories to keep a smile on our faces. I am sorry to hear about yor loss and my thoughts are with you all. It is to bad that it takes a tragedy like this to express how important family is.

to tony's mama mrs. ruckman, i am so sorry for your loss i only talked to you a couple of times a few years ago but i loved your son he remained a very dear friend to me and my family in texas. we will miss him deeply. our prayers and thoughts are with his all his children and grandchildren. he was a good man had a lot of rough times in his life but he always seemed to make people laugh even when he was hurting inside. he was very prideful and he had all of our respect. i have so many fond memories of him that i would like to share with you someday. i think of him as being in heaven with his baby girl, his neice bonnie and his daddy. and all others who have gone before him, i know he is looking down and smiling from the seat of a big nice truck just a runnin down the roads of heaven. at last he is happy again.
