Susan Ann Kaili

Susan Ann Kaili, 52, of Des Moines passed away on November 10, 2008 at her home after a long battle with cancer. A celebration of life will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with cremation following the service. The family will greet friends from 5-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Susan was a 1974 graduate of Lincoln High School and had worked for the State of Iowa for the past 15 years most recently as an account technician. The love of her life was her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Dave, her children Kelli (Joseph) Kaili-Stovall and David Kaili both of Des Moines, her grandchildren Joey D. and Sydni Stovall, her brothers Gary (Bobbie) McGriff of Phoenix and Dick (Bev) McGriff of Laurens, her mother and father-in-law David and Beverly Kaili of Des Moines, her brothers-in-law Rick (Nancy) Kaili and Kevin Kaili and her sister-in-law Karen (Doug) Summy all of Des Moines as well as nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Mary Ellen McGriff. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the John Stoddard Cancer Center, Baskets of Hope or the Lighthouse Community Church.
