Illo Fredregill

Illo Fredregill, 91, passed away January 1, 2007 at the Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Illo was born July 11, 1915 in Vandalia, Ia to Jennie and Maxwell Smith.
She was a homemaker. She lived in Des Moines for most of her life. Illo loved children and enjoyed babysitting grandchildren, great grandchildren and children of her neighbors. She also loved doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan, great grandson Mark Wilson, her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.. Illo is survived by her daughter, Dorotha (Bob) Trostle of Des Moines.; her granddaughters, Jeane Trostle-White (Ron) and Judy (Tim) Trostle; her great grandson, Paul (Shelly) Wilson Jr, her great granddaughter, Heather Peterie (Noel), her great great granddaughters, Sapphire Johnson and Delaney Wilson, her great great grandsons, Lance and Tyler Wilson and Mark Nelson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to her church, Evangel Chapel Foursquare Church.
