The sadness I feel from such a wonderful person being gone from this earth is great, so I can only imagine the family's grief. Kathy and I worked together. Even when I did not work directly with her, you could feel the joy she brought with her presence. Before I retired, I worked directly with her on reports. She always took the high road in dealing with others, and made me feel good about work and life. We'd discuss cats, tv, politics, even weather and have a laugh or two. Or if there was something serious to be done or worked on, she was always willing to step up to the challenge.
In the end she's been a positive influence in this world - what better way to have lived.

I have been a friend and co-worker of Kathy's for quite a few years now, and thought Kathy was one of the most gentle and compassionate people that I've ever known. She will be greatly missed and always fondly remembered.

I am so sorry to hear about Kathy. I worked with Kathy for many years in the 1980s. She was my manager for a period of time. She was always so up beat not to mention so very smart. We all looked up to her for direction.
