Donald Allen

Donald L. Allen, 83 of Des Moines passed away on November 6, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Donald was a member of the Ft. Des Moines Open Bible Church and enjoyed coaching his family, friends and church’s many ball teams. He is survived by his wife Dola of Des Moines, his children Teri (Mark) Ridnour of Des Moines, Donny (Tammy) Allen of Phoenix and Jill (Jeff) Reeves of Des Moines, his grandchildren Erica (Mike) Davis, Amber (Donnie) Williams, Ryan Reeves, Kelsie Reeves, Shelby Reeves, Donny Canter, Gabe Allen and Ben Canter, his great grandchildren Brynn, Jace, Braden and Chance as well as his sister Mildred Miller. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ft. Des Open Bible Church.
