Service Details
William Wells, 3 month old son of Lindsay and Ryan Wells, died October 31, 2008 at Blank Children’s Hospital. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Luther Memorial Church, 1201 Grandview Ave. in Des Moines. Burial will be at Sunny Hill Cemetery in Adair.
William loved cuddling with his mom, and watching “This Old House” with his dad. He also loved watching ceiling fans, and the bird mobile, but in no particular order. William touched the lives of all who met him and even those that never got the chance. He will forever be loved and missed.
William is survived by his parents, Lindsay and Ryan; his grandparents, Brian and Michelle Wells, and Richard and Kim Anderson; his great grandparents, Marjorie Bendixen, Jim and Dorothy McGowan, and Willard and Gladys Wells; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lindsay and Ryan,
There is nothing that any of us can say that is going to make this any easier, just remember that we as co-workers and friends that we are here for both of you. Lindsay and Ryan, I know nothing I write can ease the pain but let these words show you how much I love you both. William was a beautiful precious little boy that was so blessed having you as his parents. He knows he was blessed. Just the few pictures I've seen of him, he looked so happy. He was loved so very much! You can see it in his eyes. Im sorry I never got to meet him in person. I just know that he was wonderful little boy because he has wonderful parents. Our prayers and love goes to you and your Family. IM here for you both always.

Please follow this message and may it help ease the suffering and pain. Death is never easy, even when an adult dies suddenly but this is truly a tragedy in all our eyes, however Gods plan for William is greater ,but will remain a mystery for now but some day you will all be reunited without the pain and suffering that Will endured on earth. Having suffered the loss of a child I know the devastation you are going through, but with God's help and the support of your family I know that you will get through his time. Grandma Margie shared William stories with me and showed me his picture just last week. He is a beautiful child and you will have beautiful memories of him to hold close to your heart. I know that Grandma Kim thought he was the greatest too. When we were at Justice's confirmation, she just shone when she talked about him. May the days ahead bring you some joy in knowing that you were able to have William in your life, even though it was for such a short time. May God Bless you both at this time. So sorry for your loss Baby Will-We-Umm has be greatly missed at daycare he sure loved to watch these "Big" kids run around and make him smile. He was a joy to take care of and a precious little man.
