Polly Thomas

Polly Thomas, 73, passed away at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Resthaven Cemetery.
Polly was born April 2, 1935 in Lovilla to Clara and Fred Briggs. She worked at numerous hotels as a waitress. Polly loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed puzzle books, playing cards, and collecting baseball hats.
Polly is survived by her daughter, Linda (Donald) Alderman, her grandchildren, Heidi, Jody, Jon, Michelle and Joe. Her great grandchildren, Luke, Skyler, Casandra, Haley, Alexis, Dae’Veon and Austin. Her brother, Shorty (Florence) Briggs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth.
