Hazel Miller

Hazel Miller, 91, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2008 at New Life Church, 6036 N.E. 12th Ave. in Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. S.W. in Altoona. Private family burial will be at the Altoona Cemetery at a later date.
Hazel was born July 14, 1917. She enjoyed bowling with her friends and sewing for her grandchildren.
Hazel is survived by her son, Harold (Gaye) Mann; daughters, Darlene (Gary) Jones and Kathy (Doug) Miller-Bahl; brothers, William and Alfred Steen and Donald Dillon; grandchildren, David and Steven Jones, Julie Ennis, Phillip Mann, Ethan and Joseph Bahl; and great-grandchildren, Jessica and Alex Jones and Faith Ennis. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben E. Mann; second husband, A.U. “Lonnie” Miller; four brothers; and her grandson, Bradley Mann.
