Joann Titus
January 08, 2019
At the age of 85, Joann Warrenetta (Kline) Titus went into the arms of Jesus on January 8, 2019. Visitation will be at 12:30pm and a celebration of life at 1:30pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, IA.
Joann was born to Russell and Dorothy Kline on January 6, 1934 in Des Moines, IA. At fourteen, she met the love of her life, E. Lee Titus. After she graduated from East High School, they married on February 10, 1952 and were later blessed with three children. Love grew and so did their family. Children are: Randy Titus, Mark & Vicki (Titus) Wheeler, Scott & Tami (Titus) Larson. Grandchildren are: Jerry (who’s also in heaven), Patrick, and Kyle Titus; Marc, Joshua & Brittany, and Desirae Wheeler; Abdiwak & Brittney (Larson) Yohannes, Cameron & Rebecca Larson. Great Grandchildren are: Noelle, Adelyn, and Malachi Wheeler; and Baby Yohannes (due in June.)
As a young girl, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord, sharing His love and her faith in Him throughout her life. She lived a life of integrity, truth, encouragement, generosity, and prayer. Because Jesus is her Savior, we know eternal life with Him is hers today. Praise God, to Him be all glory!

I have a lot of fond memories of Jo. We were buddies in Jr. High and high school, and had many fun times together. I stayed over night at her parents home, and they were always so welcoming. I will not forget you Jo, and until we meet again, I love you!
