My condolences on the loss of your mother. This is a difficult time for you. Death is an enemy to us all. GOD's word gives us hope and comfort. GOD promises a resurrection of the dead. (Acts 24:15) We will see our loved ones again, living on a paradise earth, where death and pain will be no more. (Rev.21:3-5; Psalms 37:11,29) For more comfort and support from the Bible, go to jw.org.

Carol, I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I met her in 1971 when you and I roomed together at ISU. She and your Dad came to Ames in the camper to celebrate my birthday, and to see you. This was really special to me because I'd never been in a camper, let alone celebrated my birthday in one. She'd made a cake, too, a very unusual one....the perimeter was cake, but the inside was a brownie. We all enjoyed eating it. Later she told us the dog had gotten on the counter, and eaten her cake from the top down in the middle, so she filled the center with brownies and re-iced it. What a hoot! What a wonderful Mom! With Love to your family....Deedee

Sorry for your loss our thoughts are with all of Mary's family during this time of difficulty. I first met Mary in 1960 when I started working for Sears right out of high school and connecting again a few years later with the Za-Ga-Zig shrine ladies auxiliary. She always said she taught me everything I know and never hesitated to tell people how long she knew me. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, she was a special lady and thankfully never changed from the first day I met her.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your love one, and I send my condolences. I know this is a difficult time for you, I lost my Dad 2 years ago and a friend shared this verse with me...John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out....to a resurrection of life." So God has promised that we will see our loved ones again, what a wonderful day that will be.

Dear Carol,
I was so sorry to learn of your mothers passing by reading the Westminster newsletter. My thoughts are with you. I remember your mom from Kavanaugh House as my mom spent some time there. Your mom was a lovely person.
I am also concerned as I understand that you have been having some health problems.. You are in my prayers.
Take care, Carol Reimer, Brownsburg, Indiana.
