Marjorie Ann Clinton

Marjorie Clinton, 82, passed away December 30, 2018, at Taylor House Hospice. She was born November 20, 1936, in Des Moines, to Karl and Hazel Boylan.
Marjorie was a homemaker most of her life, devoting her time and talents to her home and family. After many years of babysitting grandchildren, she worked part-time at McDonald’s on East 33rd and Euclid for more than 20 years. Above all else, she cherished her grandchildren and never missed one of their events.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Paul (Brenda) Clinton, Brad (Jim) Clinton, Anne (John) DeMoss, and Kaye (Mark) Bosley; grandchildren, Ashlee (Eric) Cooper, Ashley (John) Kamerling, Sondra Kamerling, Chloe Kamerling, Jami (Chad) Trickey, Michael (Nichol) DeMoss, Jeni (Chris) Carrick, Cody Bosley, and Kyle (Caitlyn) Bosley; great-grandchildren, Claire, Morgan, Bennett, Blake, Emma, Coen, Wyatt, and Emmitt; many nieces and nephews, as well as other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents, Karl and Hazel; brother, Richard Boylan, and sister, Marilyn Davis.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019, also at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Marjorie was the perfect balance for D. Stanley Clinton; he, who was noisy, loving, and irreverent while she was quiet and steady and thoughtful. They were a great team and raised a family of bright beautiful children. Ya done good, Marj.
