Rodney Wessel, 49, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018. He is survived by his father Rodney Wessel, Sr. (Carol), sister Margaret Wessel, 2 stepbrothers, 5 children, 7 grandchildren, many cousins, and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Wessel. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 11, funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

I knew you sober, I knew you wrecked. Not sure if you or I hold longest time ever in S.A. Cuz' we kept starting program over. From Salvation Army sorting room 05' to a garage...somewhere. e side....u were one of the few people always the same locked up as free. You made a shitty time in my life...FUN!!! I'll miss your gap tooth smile and laugh. Rest well my friend.

I miss you my friend!!! I miss your voice and your laugh. Uuuggghhh. Just like Lisa said, I can only hope that people got to know you the way I did. You were my friend and for that I am very grateful. I always knew no matter what when I need you you were always there. I just can't believe your gone. U WILL BE MISSED!!

Rest In Peace Rodney and take care of your mom. You will be loved and missed.. I only hope most people got to know the special side of you that I knew! So many memories are invading my thoughts.. this sucks! I send my prayers to your dad and sister and your kids.. its horriblle you were ripped from their lives!
