Roland James Behle was born Tuesday, December 18, 2018 and gained his angel wings Saturday, December 22, 2018.

Roland’s memory will be cherished by his mommy and daddy, Kalie and Billy Behle; his grandmas and grandpas, Lori and Kerry Shirbroun, Annette and Phil Foertsch and Bill and Peggy Behle; Uncle Jesse, Uncle Jake and Aunt Jen, Uncle Josh, Uncle Brandon, Aunt Harlie and Uncle Nathan, Aunt Grace, Aunt Abby, Aunt Addy and Aunt Theresia; his great-grandmas and great-grandpas, James and Laurel Butler, Jim and Marilyn Hildebrand, Jack and Janet Behle, Jim and Loreli Redemske, and Mike and Diane Sheil; his furry four-legged buddy, Murphy; many cousins; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was welcomed in to Heaven by his great-grandma and great-grandpa, Sherrill and Merle Shirbroun; his great-grandma Katherine Winger, his great-grandpa Joseph Anthofer, his great-great-grandma and great-great-grandpa Leatha and Howard Redemske, and Dorothy and Gene Boss; his great-great-grandma Marge Lavrenz and his great-great-grandpa Roland Harry Lavrenz, whom he was named after.

Roland’s mommy and daddy were so blessed to be able to read him his first book “I’ll Love You Forever”. Even though the time was way too brief, they treasured all the special moments holding him, feeding him and giving him his first bath.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am Friday, December 28, 2018 at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1701 8th St. SW in Altoona with a balloon release to follow. The family will greet friends at the church from 9 to 11 am Friday prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Roland. On-line condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com. The family requests you dress casually and wear blue to celebrate Roland’s precious life.
