Ida Phillips

Ida Phillips, 61, passed away at her home on December 23rd, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Ida was born on September 25th, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to Norman and Rebecca Keddie. Shortly after, she moved to Des Moines, where she lived for all her life. She worked in homecare, and remained working until her passing. She was an avid reader, enjoying romance novels the most.

Ida is survived by her son, Dustin Langstraat of Des Moines; mother, Rebecca Keddie of Des Moines; brother, Norm Keddie of Des Moines; sister, JoAnn Moran of Des Moines; grandson Anthony Schultz of Des Moines as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is her father, Norman Keddie.

Per he wishes, she will be cremated, with no services planned at this time.
