Alexander Blakeley, age 26, passed away on December 16, 2018 in Fort Dodge, IA.

Alex was born January 30, 1992, in Des Moines, Iowa to Rodney Green and Martha Blakeley. He graduated from Bondurant-Farrar High School in 2010 and later received a degree in welding. His current position was a welder at Misty Harbor in Fort Dodge, IA. Alex was always known to be the source of laughter in any room and he always enjoyed hanging out with friends.

He is survived by his parents, Rodney Green, Brandy Baker, and Martha Blakeley; brother, Rodney; sister, Madison; brother, Zane; brother, Julius; brother, Jesse; brother, Joshua; sister, Lacey and many more family and friends.

There has been a Go Fund Me account created for family expenses and there will be a Celebration of Life in Alex’s honor on January 5th from 1pm-5pm. The celebration will be located at DES Employment Group, 1300 Cummin Road, Des Moines, Iowa 50315.

Alex will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and anyone who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. This is a very difficult time for you. Death is an enemy to us all. We can receive comfort and hope in GOD's word. GOD promises a resurrection of the dead.
