Service Details
Kenneth W. Moore, 63, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 20, 2008. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ken was born April 18, 1945 to Leo and Marjorie Moore in Creston. He was a truck driver for Wilcox Truck Lines and had a love of motorcycles.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Diana Moore; sons, Mark Wyatt of Ohio and Daniel (Shella) Bailey of Des Moines; daughters, Kenda (Ron) Dille of Monroe, Kelly Moore of Owatanna, MN, Alisha (Tim) Parris of North Carolina, and Bobbie (Daniel) Hoffman of Shannon City; mother, Marjorie Underwood of Winterset; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters; and one brother.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo; son, Christopher; and sister, Mary.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family.

My love and prayers go out to each one of you. I have held you in my arms and cried with you. Praise God we know where Kenny is for eternity. Rest assured he is in heaven with God and enjoying his new, cancer-free body. I am here if you need anything. Just call. God bless you.

We are so, so sorry to hear that Ken has passed on. Our thoughts and prayers are totally with you. Stay strong and take care of yourself. Ironically, four years ago at this time, Debbie died (10/17/04 and my husband Richard died (10/24/2004). Let us know if you need anything. Love Linda and Paul
