John E. Anderson

John E. Anderson, 71, of Norwoodville, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Bright Kavanagh Hospice House. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue; visitation will be Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Berwick Cemetery.
John was born January 21, 1937 in Des Moines. He retired from the H & W Motor Express Company after many years of service. John was a member of the Teamsters Local 147.
John is survived by his son, James (Honni) Anderson; his daughters, Deb (Art) Vogel and Teresa Anderson; his sister, Sharon (Keith) Thomas; his grandchildren, Tony Stevenson, Robyn, Cody, Colton and Tiffani Shepherd; one niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Wilma Anderson.
