Eva Edwards

Eva Edwards, 91, of Courtyard Estates in Pleasant Hill died of congestive heart failure Friday, October 17th, 2008 at home. Services will be held Monday, October 20th, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Lutheran Church Of The Cross in Altoona, Iowa. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Eva was born in Lucas County and lived in the Des Moines, Altoona, Pleasant Hill area for 60 years. She was a member of Highland Park Christian Church, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Eva was a retired Secretary for the Des Moines Public Schools.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by daughter Kay (Chico) Alcantar of Altoona, a son Larry (Nancy) of Altoona; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 2002.
Family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service on Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to Highland Park Christian Church.
