Everett Hogue, 58, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 after a short battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). Everett was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy, who lost her battle with ALS in September, 2007. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone whose lives he touched. A graveside funeral will be held 2pm Friday, October 17th at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Everett’s family will greet friends at 1:30pm Friday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.

I met Everett when he worked at Mercy. I got talking to him when he was in the pharmacy department and discovered that his son went to school with my husband-Doug Pagel. He was always very sweet. I was wondering why I hadn't seen him lately. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I am sure he is with the angels.
