Arthur Crise

Arthur Gene Crise, Sr. 78, died October 14, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center of pneumonia. Funeral services will be held 1:30pm Friday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Arthur was born August 24, 1930 in Altoona, IA, the son of Pressley and Gladys Crise. Arthur retired from Pulley Freight Lines and was a member of Teamsters Local 710 and an Army Veteran. Arthur was a member of Indianola Heights Christian Church.
Arthur is survived by his wife Marion; his three sons, Gene, John (Jeanine) and David (Terri), all of Des Moines; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; his brothers Jack and Jerry; and sister Betty Thielen. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandson Billy.
